MBBS graduate looking to get into management courses

Iam a MBBS graduate working in HealthcareIT industry planning to take up CAT or GMAT and get into an elite B-School. I plan to get into top level management in Healthcare IT or Pharma companies. Will this be a good career proposition considering my background? Any other suggestion?
