Hi, I would say that it is difficult to differentiate the two since one being a masters degree and the other a bachelor degree. M.C.A is advisable after B.C.A and is best for those willing to make a career in in programming, networking or various other application packages. While B.TECH is an engineering degree. Apart from the traditional branches which include Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, engineering offers a vista of branches and specialization options such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Chemical, Automobile, Ceramics, Environmental, Textile, Marine, Production engineering.
