my friend had done mcom without any previous qualification eiilm university offer such courses direct mcom so she can apply for ias exams

Hi Soniya,
To appear for IAS Examination you need to have graduation from a recognized University, so if your friend has directly done M.Com and doesn't have M.Com it would not hold valid for IAS Examination. Infact he/she would face problems in other government sectors as well.

no for applying to ias and other upsc exams you have to be either an arts, science or commerce graduate from any UGC, AICTE, MHRD approved college and university only.
