We suggest a student gives a systematic one and half year time to preperation. Seeing change in pattern it is imperative to chose optionals that are contemporary and relevent subjects instead of conventional subjects. One should start study with mains and the approach Prelims about 5 to 6 months before the exam. Mean time you must update you current events and Affairs knowledge with interlinkages to different streams of GS.

hello vipin, IAS exam has three parts priliminary, mains then interview. there are any fields for the exam like history, computers and many more. you have to choose only one which is your favourite and go to prepare it.
