Presently I am studying in 11th standard with science.Want to be a mathematics professor.How should i proceed in order to have a bright career or what are the opportunities opened with maths?

first things first.improve your mathematical aptitude, as the subject is the very basis for a bright future.for becoming a professor one must have a ph.d,good research publications,guide work as the research guide and seniority in teaching.

As u are in 11th only there's a long way to go to become a maths professor for this u will have to , Regularly practice maths & after you complete 10+2 go for B.Sc(Maths) & then after M.Sc(Maths) then u can go for either P.hd Or NET to become a Professor & u should also score good in your academics

You should follow:-
B.Sc. in maths
M.Sc. in staistics or economics or operation management
Ph.D maths
After M.Sc., you give UGC-NET exam to qualify for lecturer-ship in any government college or universities as Maths lecturer or research associate. You may pursue Ph.D while you are working as facul
