Merger of Arts and Science and Professional Colleges

Why should there be separate entities for Arts and Science as well as Professional Education?. With more and more seats falling vacant in Conventional Arts and Science and Professional Streams every year is it high time that we think of merging both streams into a single campus to enhance efficiency

the point is interesting because it is happening in many institutions these days.as long as the science subjects are conventional like Botany,Zoology, Physics and Chemistry,no challenge was thrown to Arts subjects.but, then was launched the new policy of the ugc,with new re-structured science subjec
