MIT Pune or Galgotia? I know Mit pune is better. But is it worth spending more money, living in hostel in Maharashtrian majority?

A lot of people have told me that North indians have problems in living in Maharashtra especially in MIT where there are maximum Maharashtrians. So please tell me if this is true? And also living there, almost double the money will be spent than in Galgotia.
