MS for Embedded Design from Manipal University

Hi, I am working in Electronic Design field in Pune. I am interested in Part time M.E/M.Tech As I hear about M.S program from Manipal University for working people.It conducts Sat-sun class. Is it valid for higher study like Ph.d/teaching.gov job.
