Hi, Please remember the history of backlogs would not affect your chances of getting admission in US universities as long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission, however please make sure that by the time you apply in US university you must have cleared all your backlogs. In order to pursue masters degree from universities in US, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests: 1. GRE. 2. TOEFL or IELTS. Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university. Please remember application deadlines in American universities for international students are set by the department delivering each program, and these deadlines may be as early as 12 months before the program begins. So, in order to know the exact application deadline it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply. Overall,universities in US have 2 admission intake in a year namely: - Fall(September) intake. - Spring(January) intake.
