MSc in MIS provided by University of Surrey is provided by School of Management or IT? Should I gain some work ex before going or not?
I am going for Msc management information systems in uni. of surrey.
I want to know that the course is provided by school of mangnt so will it be counted as an IT course or a mangnt one?
2)I am currently an undergrad. so should i get some experience before going for the course or it does't matter?

Why you want to confuse managment and It as a separate field. The course what you ahve mentioned is clear that it is managing information systems only and not general management.

Hi Prakhar, having work experience will always give you the edge over others though it may or may not be required to begin the course at masters level. MSc MIS course is always offered by Management department. Its a mix of both IT and management. and MIS is counted as a management subject but very
