I think you should pay attention towards other exams and if you do well in them then you will get a seat in a government college with low fee.

My opinion is that you have to take admission in an autonomous college. You can easily get YCCE if you want.

Honestly speaking 80% of the students think to get 1-year coaching for IIT JEE.
But, there is a trap I am not disappointing you.
I am just telling you the truth, if you only have confidence in yourself then only take a drop.
Next year if you just crack the cut off or get 100 marks, still you will not be able to get admission in NITs. You have to score minimum 150 to get at least any college in NITs.
So, better don't waste a year you might regret later.
Consider getting a best college as possible.
But, I don't recommend you to drop.

    Hi Aditya,
Re-attempt is advisable but I will suggest you to do so if and only if you are confident of improving the scores or you will be wasting a year. You may consider a private college but a very low ranked college will not help you in the long run as they won't guarantee any placements neither do they have the proper infrastructure required to train students. Do your research carefully and try to connect with former students if you plan to apply to a particular college. Therefore it is up to your discretion. I think u should take a private college unless u have a category reservation
btw u have good board % but it is of no value if u drop Your 1 year, coz 2017 onwards IIT JEE will not consider board % for AIR,hence no benefits of board marks
it depends on u if u r too much desperate for IIT than go for coaching nearby Your city.
dont think of coaching from kota.
