My 12th stream is science (with PCM). How can I make my career in hotel management field?

The best thing to apply is after finishing class 12th is applying for STEP programme by Oberoi Group of Hotels or apply for IHM-Aurangabad, if you want to go south or Vedatya Institute- Gurgaon. If you want to apply somewhere north all these are private institutions providing top notch quality education, but in case of budget constraints you may apply for NCHMCT i.e., government IHMs.

You can give AJEE for Hotel Management named NCHMCT, which comes in December or January. On your rank basis, you go through council process, and they give you option in the colleges, where IHM Pusa New Delhi is on top.

5 years agoYou can pursue hotel management course after class 12th standard with 50% marks in you academic record. And, if you are targeting top tier 1 colleges, like IHMs, then you need to give entrance exam to get into this college. -

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT).
BHMCT Course Eligibility:
Students can take admission in this course after passing class 12th exam in any stream with minimum 50 % marks. They also need to appear in Hotel management entrance exam.
