My academics are poor and I have a gap of 3 years without any work experience. Can I go for CAT exam and get a good college?

The eligibility criteria for CAT is graduation with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and disabled candidates). So, if you meet the above criteria, then you are eligible. Further, the weightage of academic qualifications in selection contribute about 30%. Hence, this is very important component in selection. However, there are many of B-Schools where you can get the opportunities if done well at CAT level.
