The majority of colleges have set an age restriction for enrollment in the Bachelor of architecture programme. However, there is no upper age limit for the architecture entrance exams like JEE Mains and NATA. This suggests that you may be able to apply for admission to a B.Arch. Programme at some public and private colleges at the age of 42. At this age, you can definitely follow your passion. You can apply to private colleges or take the NATA or JEE Mains Paper 2 for admission to the B.Arch. Programme. Visit this link to learn more about some of the top B.Arch. Some colleges do allow students of any age to join a Bachelor's programme, so technically yes, you can. The course in itself requires innumerable assignments, projects and tests and it also requires development of lot of skills like drafting, sketching, etc.
