Subhajit, its not advisable to drop one year.There is no surety that next year you will score very good. Better would be you go for some good private universities and make the best of the opportunities that come your way.

Hello Subhajit Payra, Well I think you don't need to drop 1 year studies for competitive Exam preparation.
