Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam. As per the eligibility criteria of the exam, candidate should have 55% aggregate (General) or 50% (OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders) marks in post-graduation. And you have 50% aggregate marks, so you can apply. The next NTA NET 2019 exam will be conducted in December 2019. And the online application process will be started in the month of August 2019.
