My aim is to join in IIM. What is the entrance exam procedure? How can I prepare for it?

Hi Oviya,
To get through any IIM, you need to appear for CAT. Only if you score distinctively high i.e. around 96 percentile (depends on year on year) you might stand a chance to get a call from them. Aim to score 98-99 percentile. Also, they would check your academics throughout and you need to meet up to their criteria to get through the interview and GD rounds. Start studying hard and smart and appear as many Mocks as you can. Also refer to various authors and apply for test series at different places. As they say the more, the merrier. Good Luck Mate. -

6 years agoHi Oviya,
To enter an IIM, you need to give CAT. Only if you do well there, will you be considered for the next rounds of admission process. To prepare for it, use good study material such as Arun Sharma for Quant and Verbal, or coaching institutes material such as TIME or IMS. Other than that, keep giving mock tests to know where you are lacking and what else you need to do to improve. Hope that helps.
All the best. -
