My brother is in 7th grade and he wants to do engineering from IITs. Which board is preferable for 10th - CBSE, ICSE or IGCSE?

CBSE will be suitable. Because he could adapt to ICSE now. CBSE will be a good choice and ask him to prepare for entrance examination.

CBSE is good for doing best in IIT exams but ICSE can do it better if student study it thoroughly.

Hello Atharv, It's so nice to see such youngster dreaming of entering IIT. Great. Actually speaking when your bro comes up for 10th or 12th, it would not matter since syllabus across India us getting synchronized. However ask him to study with aim of understanding.
