Hi friend, I have a friend who studies Computer Engineering in UPES, Dehradun and is very glad. I remember him telling me that UPES runs B-Tech program with a specialization in Cyber law, Retail Automation and Cloud computing, Telecom informatics etc in computers and they also have other engineering programs in the field of Electronic, Power, Oil & Gas, Transportation,Infrastructure etc . If you are still on for b.tech you can check out the institute yourself. Good Luck!

    Hi,
It is advisable to pick B.E/B.TECH degree through lateral entry and simultaneously a short term course such as-
    Cisco Certified Network Associate
    Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
    CompTIA Network+ 2009
This will help you in enhancing your career and also you can easily proceed with masters in future.
As a Networking Engineer you will be responsible for the successful design, implementation, maintenance and ongoing development of computer networks, drawing together software and hardware networking expertise.
Opportunities exist within larger IT firms, either dealing with the company's own systems or working in their contract services.
