My CAT score is 58 %ile, Am i eligible to apply for PGDM? Should I start preparing again or should I opt for MBA in this particular year?

You can apply for colleges with this percentile. However, I would suggest you to retake CAT and target colleges that are 70% percentile plus.

Hi Ridhima, Try giving cmat , xat etc as there are many good colleges under these exams. With a cat score of 58%tile, u may not get good college.In my opinion it's better to prepare for one more year and then try to get into one of the top 100 MBA colleges. I believe rather than preparing again you need not to lose one precious year. There are enough good colleges and universities where you can get admissions and serve your objectives. Best wishes.

The percentile you mentioned is very low to get admission or even to apply in any of the top flight colleges in the country but you are eligible to apply for PGDM in some of the middle level colleges. If you got this percentile without any preparation not even for one month then your 58 percentile

I am expecting this percentage in CAT 2016 and I am not ready to spend 1 year again to try for CAT. Could you suggest me some college for finance having average placement of at least 5 LPA?

I would suggest you to go for other exams and secure admission in some reputed college. This percentile in CAT won't land you in some good college at all. You can also consider giving CAT once again next year.

My suggestion is bit different. u can get admission in any good college where placements will be gurantteed. rest is your choice.
