Your CAT score is low. There are less chances of getting a call. However I would advise you that if you could give CAT again and score better than this years score then go for it. Try for BIMTECH, Jamnalal Bajaj, Welingkar etc.

Hi Sushant, You can apply in BITS, but there is a low chance for you to get a call due to your CAT percentile. Still since the selection of BITS is profile based. You can give it a try.
    All the best.
    Thanks.

With this percentile it is not possible to get a call from BITS. Try again next year.

There are bleak chances of getting a call, because of lower CAT score. However, since BITS considers overall profile of students, you may get a call.

Sorry but chances are grim. Score is a bit on the lower side.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Yes, for B.E. admission at Chandigarh University, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria of Class 12, irrespective of their JEE score. Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. The minimum percentage requirement is as per regulatory norms and may vary slightly by program, but JEE scores alone do not override academic eligibility. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory. CU maintains this balance to ensure academic readiness while kee
