Your score is too low for getting enrollment in NITK - Surathkal. As per selection criteria of NITK, it gives 70% weightage to CAT/GMAT scores, 10 % to GD, 10 % to PI and 10 % to WE. You need to score good in GMAT and minimum 80 percentile in CAT to get admission in NITK.
GMAT is held for a total of 800 marks, divided among four core sections- Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal, and most top GMAT accepting business schools in the world require the aspirants to have a score of at least above 550.

A CAT score is mandatory. Then, it will depend on GD, PI, your profile and work experience.
