My CAT score is too low 20%. Can I get a seat in NIT-K? My MAT score is 70%. Can I get admission through MAT score? I am planning for GMAT.

    You can attend the interview round and wait for the spot selection round. You may have a chance of getting selected in the spot admission round. MAT scores are not accepted for admission. Only GMAT and CAT scores are accepted for admission.

    No only CAT and GMAT scores are applicable. In general merit, I doubt if your application will get shortlisted for next round. However, take GMAT and try and see if you can score above 55-60 percentile. I don't think there are sectional cut-offs. So, concentrate on areas where you think you can score well. Whatever is your GMAT score, put an application to NIT-K based on your CAT or GMAT score, whichever is better. Over the years, less importance has been given to score compared to one's overall personality. Also, don't forget, NIT-K offers spot admission for people who have valid GMAT or CAT scores.     NITK accepts only CAT or GMAT. 20% is too low for this college. All the best for future exams.

    No, you can't apply through MAT score. CAT score (even low) is required.
