My child is studying in X (CBSE) & want to continue her XIand XII in IB, will this help her in the future for becoming an architect?

She is currently in X and appearing for her boards. Also, she wants to complete her education abroad. Will choosing IB help her out?

What does IB stand for? Is it a course or just ICSE Board in short? Anyway, it should not affect much if the 12th is pursued with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
