My cousin quit engg in 1st year due to family issues.Now he has gap of 5 years after 12th .What r d career options open?

Can you suggest a suitable career options for him? Will this five years gap be an obstacle in pursuing pursuing admissions? If yes ,then what are the available career options?(both full time/correspondence) I have heard that some institutes offer 15 months BCom/BSc course.Are they worth pursuing?

In such a situation h should visit a private education provider who will be able to guide him best. He has to answer the reasons for this 5 years gap to employers and Indian employers are extremely fussy about 'gap' due to reason known to them.
