My daughter is studying 12th standard. Eligible in NDA exam?

    For NDA (1) 2020: The candidates possessing age between 2nd July 2001 to 1st July 2004 are eligible for the examination. If born before 2nd July 2001 and after 1st July 2004 then not eligible for NDA (1) 2020 exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination.

    Look at the rule : "Only unmarried male candidates". So your daughter can not apply.

    Though the criteria is 10+2 but I doubt if females actually apply for the exam.

    Girls are not allowed for NDA. Only boys can apply for NDA examination.

    Yes, if she is studying in 12th, she is eligible for the NDA exam as the minimum criteria for NDA exam is 12th. So let her go for it. But, Eligibility for Indian Army:
    *The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognised board. *The appearing candidates can also apply. Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force:
    *Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognised board or University with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
