    Hello Dear,
With 340, you have less chances for MBBS or BDS in government medical colleges. For government the expected cutoff is around 500. But, you may expect a good private college depending on your street.

The NEET cut-off rises every year. Honestly, for a general category candidate the chances are very thin to get a good government college. But, you can try your luck in private college counselling. Keep updated through their websites and websites of NEET and other states for counselling schedule.

For general category, there is least possible chances for government colleges. Still there are various self financed institutions in Karnataka, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu providing seat.
2nd part is of good college; All medical college must meet a minimum eligible standards to be MCI approved and after passing from that session and college, a degree is equally valid but rest depends on merit of student.
