My degree is B.Sc in instrumentation. Is this equivalent to B.Tech?

It is almost equivalent to B.Tech, as you can apply for the same job in instrumentation as they do. But at some places they mention B.Tech only, so you can not apply there. You will have the same knowledge almost about instrumentation as B.Tech students do. Good luck.

As I apply in railway ALP form. B.Tech Diploma ITI are eligible for ALP. But there is no mention equivalent degree for ALP. So I face problem during Document Verification.

B.Tech gets a preference over B.Sc normally. But, there are instances, when an employer prefers B.Sc for his own benefit.
