My father's name in 10th and 12th marksheet is slightly different. Will it impact my chances of getting admission?
My 10th marksheet mentions my father's name along with the surname while the 12th marksheet does not mention it.

You say that the name of your father is different on your 10th and 12th class certificates, and whether it will create any problems when taking admission in college.
You should visit your the nearest court and ask people the procedure for having an AFFIDAVIT.
