My friend had political commerce stream in +2 stage & passed it with an overall 50% marks. Is he eligible for BCA?

    It totally depends upon the college, some colleges require just the passing percentile, some require above 55.

    Hi,
    Here is what he can do if he doesn't get admission. There is certified cisco, Microsoft, networking, Sap/Hana modules available. Today, the market is all about if you are prepared for the organization. The degree doesn't help you land a good career or a placement. Try doing a course which will help you get placed in an organization faster than pursuing a degree in college, if you have an alternative in training then why would you want to waste your 3 years in the college. It would be better if you opt for a 1 year or 6 months training module and get placed.

    Yes, your friend can pursue BCA without any problem. Students from any stream can pursue BCA. The general eligibility criteria for getting admission into BCA is that a candidate must have scored at least 45% in their +2 which in your friend's case is 50%, therefore he/she can pursue BCA.
