Hello Sagar, Unfortunately many states in India do not accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th. Hence inspite of doing Diploma your friend will be stuck. He will have to complete his +2 first and then only some degree he can pursue.

Pursuing B.Sc. In any field one has to complete his 12th and Polytechnic students only complete 10th in my opinion and also in 12th the subjects must be of Science field. Thank You!

Dear Aspirant, Diploma ECE will not be considered for taking admission in B.Sc. Agriculture, either he needs 60% aggregate marks in 12th (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or Intermediate (Agriculture) or Diploma in Agriculture after 10th. Hope it helps ! Good Luck
