My friend secured 72% in class 10th and 49% in class 12th. Which is the career option he should opt?

It will be great if he go for some Diploma courses and start doing job because 49% is very less in 12th grade.
He can try for some hardware networking courses, web design etc. that can make his career better if he work hard.
