My gate rank is 1242 my category is gen ,hoping to get in some nit,should i join in that nit?or take IES long term?or go abroad without risk

My 10th percentage is 85(SSC),12th is 94 ,b.tech is 74,my b.tech course is electrical,i like maths very much and consistently scored more than 95% in it.i like even 'c' language,i like my electrical course too.i am looking get settled with good pay .
