My GRE score is verbal-156 quantitative-160 & my UG is 74.5%, i want to do MS in petroleum engg, i am from mechanical stream

I am planning to go to TAMU ,University of houston, University of texas at Austin, Colorado School of Mines, University of Alberta at Canada,as i am a mechanical student, i want to do ms in petroleum engg,so other than GRE scores,what else i have to take into consideration for admission?
