It's difficult to say for sure if you will get admission to any college with an ICAR rank of 17000 and an OBC category. The cut-offs vary from year to year.

You can try private colleges for BSc agriculture, biotechnology, forestry, fisheries, and other courses. You can also apply for counseling and get a seat if you are eligible.

You can check your email and the ICAR website regularly for updates.

General students with an overall rank of about 6K and OBC candidates with an overall rank of about 8K (AIR and not category rank) can expect to get a seat for agriculture-related courses.

It is difficult to say for sure whether you will get admission to any college with your ICAR rank of 17000 and OBC category, as the cut-offs vary from year to year and depend on a number of factors, such as the number of seats available, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of students who appeared in the exam.

Here are some college preferences that you may consider:

    • Private colleges:
      • Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University
      • Amity University
      • Lovely Professional University
      • Sharda University
      • SRM University
    • Government colleges:
      • Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth
      • Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya
      • Kerala Agricultural
    ...more
