Prepare general topics, and the topics which were popular in past one year for GD.
In PI, teachers will try to see your interest towards MBA.Why do you want to do MBA? How would you contribute to department? They will ask you about your extracurricular activities etc. Basically, you have to be optimistic, graceful and respectful in both GD and PI.

Basically in GD current affairs topic will be raised. So you need to go through current affairs through news paper, internet or any other means. In PI or personal interview basically the interviewers wants you to know as a person instead of your CV or resume.so be prepared for chit chat and very basics. They can go through little portion of your academics and rest they will talk to you and try to check you confidence leadership skill. The HR will be very friendly who will be taking interview so don't worry.

For the same BTech specialisation, the cutoff rank was 5077 in 2024, while in 2023, it was 4924. It was evident by looking at the cutoff ranks over the years that the competition has increased.

The cutoff changes depending on rounds, specialisations, and categories. If you qualify under the General AI quota, the maximum required JEE Main cutoff rank for B.Tech admission was 60255 in 2025.Those who have a lower cutoff than the one specified can get a seat in NIT Warangal BTech. For CSE, ECE, etc., the cutoff ranks tend to be lower showing high competition for admission in the engineering aspirants.
