Your chances of getting IITs under the asked category are very low. The total number of seats in IITs in B.Tech courses are about 16234, and as per reservation, 2435 seats are reserved for asked category. So your rank should be below 2435.

sc rank and prep rank are different or same . Do I get any seat inIITas I got around 1200.

Congratulations on superb performance. Yes, you hve a definite chance of getting into IITs. surely the number of seats in reserved category is around 2400 so it might be little difficult to get the stream of your choice. Insuggest you please check the cutoffs of all IITs so that you know your targe
