My JEE Main rank is 17000 Gen category in UP. Can l get ECE or mechanical in MNNIT, Allahabad?

Very rare chance since you are from general category. Go for some other branches like chemical, biotech and with a good CPI in the first year, you can change your branch.

You cannot get EC or mechanical branch in MNNIT, Allahabad. There are option for you like production engineering, biotechnology, chemical engineering.
