My JEE Mains rank is 79k and marks are 87. Please suggest me some good colleges except VIT and SRM. My preferred branches are CSE & IT.

As per your rank mentioned (I.e 79000), you can apply for the very good semi private college BIT Mesra off campuses which are BIT Patna, BIT Deoghar, BIT Jaipur. Among these 3 extension centres best is the BIT Patna which also has a good placement records and medium rated professors. Also they have good optional streams and in 2nd year they also teach some good streams like french language (in BIT Patna) other campuses may teach other foreign languages. Also, guess what, according to your rank, you can get CSE in the best college BIT Patna. So, I think this would a good opportunity for you.

In case you don't get a good college on the basis of this rank, then you can opt for some of the good private universities like Lovely, Manipal, Thapar, etc offering B.Tech CSE and IT. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.
