My Maharashtra HSC score is 472 out of 650, am I in the top 20 percentile of my state?
My scores are as follows: compute science: 170/200, Eng.: 85/100, EVS: 50/50, phy: 58/100, chem: 61/100, maths: 48/100. According to JoSSA in Maharashtra, we have to get 345 (out of 500) in the best of five subjects to be in top 20 percentile. But the total marks are 650 in HSC. Really confused.

Year 2023, Top 20 percentile score for GEN is 351 out of 500
For OBC NCL ot is 356, For SC And ST it is 336. While calculating your marks, you have to Take English Physic, Chemistry and Mathematics, compulsory. The remaining 1 subject to calculate you marks is optional, You can take any 1 subject other than mentioned above in which you have get good score. This is how the total marks is out of 500 for 5 subject, even though in Maharashtra we give exam for more than 5 subject, but while calculating top 20 percentile we have to consider only 5 subject. I think this will help you.
