    Also, The cost of the package is influenced by a variety of factors. Ultimately, it is up to the business. If a company is looking for a specific educational background, it may look at a candidate's academic record. You should also decide which MBA specialization you want to pursue. It's possible that these schools will accept you based on your score.

    First of all let's address your issue. If you need 12 LPA then take a drop and again appear for CAT, XAT and other exams and see if you can improve upon your percentile. The explanation of the above sentence is that lots of decent colleges don't accept MAT scores so you will eventually struggle to get a good college. If your preference is to do MBA then you can go for it given what you get, but it's hard to get 12 LPA at this percentile leave apart the fact that MAT exam will land you to good colleges. Also, 66 percentile might be difficult to fetch top colleges through MAT and only a few of them might be able to provide placements in your expected range.

    Thee package depends upon various factors. It is totally the company's call. Some company do consider previous academic scores where some hire from some specific educational background. Also which specialisation you are gonna take in your MBA. With your score you can take these colleges which have some great placement track;
    Sri Balaji University
    Jaipuria Institute of Management
    IILM
    IBS.
