UPSC notifies about the IAS examinations through Employment News and other leading newspapers every year in the month of February.
Following are requirement for Exam
1. You must be having a Graduate degree.
2. Prescribed age limits are minimum 21 years and maximum of 30 years
3. Four attempts for General category candidates.
These are following stages for Test:
Stage I: Preliminary examination - This is qualifying test held in May/June every year.
