Through NEET Karnataka admissions, a total of 10,145 MBBS and 3,445 BDS seats will be granted. As per the latest information there are 3200 seats in government medical colleges in Karnataka. Of which 15 %will go to the all india quotaOut of these 1020 will come to general merit, thus even with candidates dropping out of counselling to pursue engineering and toppers opting for all india quota. At most it could stretch to 1500 ranks more or less. Rest will go for reservation quotas like SC, ST, OBC (1A,1B,2A,2B,3A,3B) sports quota, physical handicapped quota and then there is additional conundrum of the rural/urban quota, where government wants to wash its hands off poor educational facilities in rural setup by giving a quota. So you will find bit difficulty in getting a seat at the institutions. Priyanka you need to proceed through private colleges through certain amount of donations. Cuz the closing rank for sc is around 180000 so it's difficult for you.
