My nephew has written 10th exam through CBSE board and his age is just 16. Is he eligible for the NDA exam?

The eligibility criteria for NDA exam is as under. NDA Eligibility Criteria 2019 :- 1. Age Limit :- Candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2003. The date of birth should match the date recorded in the matriculation or higher secondary examination certificate. Minimum Age: 16.5 years Maximum Age: 19.5 years Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination. 2. Educational Qualification :- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy - Candidates applying for admission to the Army wing of National Defence Academy should have passed Class 12. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy - The candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board/ University. Candidates appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply for NDA 2019. However, those appearing/ passing class 11 exams are not eligible for the exam. So, your Nephew must have to complete his 12th standard first/Appearing.
