My NIMCET rank is 6285 and I belongs to OBC category will I able to get seat in UOH and how do I apply for MCA there?

    The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test NIMCET is an exam conducted for admissions to MCA programs in participating colleges. Hyderabad Central University (HCU), popularly known as the University of Hyderabad, is also one of the participating institutions in NIMCET for admission to its Master of Computer Applications MCA programme. The eligibility criteria for the same is a Bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 60%. Please check the eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2026 below -

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics (Mandatory)/B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognised university. 
Minimum Marks:

  • OPEN/OPEN-EWS/OBC: 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA. 
  • SC/ST/PwD: 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA. 

Final year students are also eligible to apply. 

Nationality: Must be an Indian National.
