My passport expires during my studies, am i elligible to apply for the course?

My pasport expires in 31july 2014 and i m opting for 2yrs course in Humber starts on 2012 sep,hw is that going to work as my pasport expires. I cannot wait until 2014 to get a new passport, I am really confused and i dont know what to do as my passport is expiring before my course ends..

you are elegible to apply for the course but for sure the Visa will not be granted. As according to the rule at the time one is applyiing in for the visa...his visa should have the validity date after his course gets over. and this goes for all the countries. No matter for which course or intake or
