My percentile is 92.06 in JEE (Mains) and I'm general. Can I get admission in NITs or IIITs or GFITs?

Dear Lovelish, 92.06 is a great percentile to have. I doubt about IITs and older NITs, but you can land up in newer NITs which are just like normal colleges. With this great score, I suggest you to try for LPU, your admission will have no problem and also you get 35|% scholarship provided you apply before 20th sept. LPU has been ranked by NIRF in top 100 institutions in the country and even the ATAL rankings by MHRD have ranked it in Band A of top 25 institutions of India. As per your JEE Mains percentile, your rank would be somewhere around 130000, therefore it's difficult to get into NIT or IITs. But don't lose hope, now a days, there are many private colleges and universities, which offer equally good education and placements. Being LPU alumni, I would recommend LPU for the B.Tech CSE course. Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many IITs. As I am not sure about the above institutes, but for the Lovely Professional University- LPU. I can share some facts regarding it- LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can.
