My profile: 10th-49.12%, 12th-68% and B.Com-50.3%. Can I get a chance in TAPMI if I score more than 85 percentile in CAT?

Hi, T.A.Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) accepts the scores of three national level management entrance exams - Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT-XLRI), GMAT for its admission process. The cutoff of TAMPI is the minimum score required to be called for the next rounds of the selection procedure such as group discussion, written ability test or personal interview. Apart from a basic eligibility of 50 percent aggregate marks in graduation. The weightage given to various components involves in a selection process are given below. 1. Exam Score (Overall) 25% 2 Verbal Ability (VA Percentile) 10% 3. Academic Profile 15% 4. Work Experience 15% 5. WAT 05% 6. GD 15% 7. PI 15%. Here maximum weight age is given to CAT exam score, work experience, Gd and PI, so, in my opinion, you have a good chance if scores more than 85 percentile. Good luck.

Dude, it's not too easy for you now because your percentage is not good enough to get admission. But, you can work hard more and wait for some more rounds in counseling.

The chances are less as your 10th marks are below 50 percent.
