My profile: 10th=72.52%, 12th-74%, graduation-60.54%, CAT-52 percentile, XAT-25 and CMAT-65. Should I pursue PGDM or MBA in HR?
Asked about Pune Institute of Business Management - Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

For MBA, you will need a bit help of with marks for entry. But in PGDM, marks are not the main criteria, your eligibility and eagerness to learn are the main thing. Moreover, in PGDM, you will have more practical lessons than MBA. So, PGDM in HR is a wise decision.

It's totally up to you. Post-Graduation diploma management Program (PGDM) is a diploma program affiliated to AICTE, which is totally designed by the campus and Master of Business Management (MBA) is a degree course affiliated to the universities. Actually, PGDM or MBA doesn't matter, it matters how you take from the 2 years post-graduation program and create a different personality. Learning new skilled sets and developing a better personality is what industries/companies are looking for in the candidates.
Being an Alumni of Pune Institute of Business Management I would say that PIBM is the best B-school to go for.

If you want to pursue a management course then you should choose Pune because it is the best to place for pursuing any professional course and PIBM Pune is one of the best colleges for pursuing both MBA and PGDM in HR. Choosing between MBA and PGDM it's about your preferences. The difference between both the courses is their curriculum. For MBA, the curriculum is designed by the university but for PGDM it is designed by the college and the PGDM course is more flexible. PIBM ranked under the top 100 college...more
