7 years agoYes, you can give the CET and get admission according to your rank. As per University Admission Brochure, to appear for IPU CET for B.Tech. the Eligibility Conditions are to
pass in Class 12 of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination. So if, you have passed in each subject individually, then you can get admission. -
As per the details I have, In LPU for B.Tech, 60% in 12th is a borderline but, if you have served in defence or ward of defense personal or belong to SC/ST then 5% relaxation is there are chances, Further you can enroll in Diploma programme and then join B.Tech in second year.

Class 10th marks doesn't matter for B.Tech. Class 12th marks matters and JEE Main too. To take admission in LPU, you should appear for LPU-NEST which can make your entry to LPU much easier. As your class 12th marks is low you should appear for LPU-NEST. Or, appear for the improvement of class 12th to have some good marks. And, try for Admission after that.
